Optimization of Wind Energy Battery Storage Microgrid by Division Algorithm Considering Cumulative Exergy Demand for Power-Water Cogeneration

This study investigates the use of division algorithms to optimize size a desalination system integrated with microgrid based on wind turbine plant and battery storage supply freshwater cost, reliability, energy losses. Cumulative exergy demand is used identify minimize losses in optimized system. Division are overcome drawback low convergence speed encountered by well-known method genetic algorithm. The findings indicated that there positive relationship between cumulative exergy, reliability. More specifically, when loss power probability 10%, compared it 0%, total life cycle cost reduced 34.76% full 45.44% empty 44.43% decrease respectively. However, more reliable system, less lost during production 1 m3 into plant.
